Het verblijf is in een zeer prettig hotel wat midden in de wijk chiado, winkels en cafe's op loop afstand en zelfs naast het hotel heb je 1 van de bekenste cafe's van portugal, cafe brasiliera, wat er alleen aan de buitenkant al prachtig en elgeant uitziet,Sinds de opening in 1905 is hier bijna niets aan het interieur veranderd en je wandelt bij A Brasileira dan ook regelrecht de Belle Epoque binnen. Je kunt hier lunchen en ontbijten met broodjes of zoete Portugese lekkernijen en bij het diner worden traditionele gerechten geserveerd. Tussendoor kun je hier goed koffie drinken en mensen kijken vanaf het terras. Tot 02.00 uur 's nachts ben je welkom bij A Brasileira en je zult al snel begrijpen waarom dit café al meer dan 100 jaar erg populair is bij de Portugezen. Het hotel zit gelijkaan het Chiado-plein waar er veel muziek word gemaakt en er altijd wel een vorm van vermaak is en op 1 minuut lopen van bekende fadoclubs in de wijk bario alto. De eerste kamer heeft een te kleine douche en na een minuutje of zo regelen ze zo een andere kamer, wat een service zeg super!!! niets bij betalen en zo een andere kamer gekregen wow das echt klasse en die kamer is net een balzaal zo groot, met eengrote badkamer, met bad heerlijk. Zo spullen geinstaleerd en weer op weg dus na aankomst gelijk op verkenning gegaan wat een mooie omgeving je slaat wat straatjes in loopt dan echt nou zeg maar steil na beneden op het water toe en tegenover je bevind het stadje alma waar het grote beeld van jezus staat, wat je van deze kant af aan dus goed kan zien, de mooie rode brug ( 25 april brug) knalt in zijn eenvoud boven het water uit, Het is hier goed vertoeven, rust en relaxen aan de waterkant. Met de rug na het verkeersplein achter je vergeet je bijna dat je in de stad bent. Na een paar straatjes verder een supermarkt gevonden te hebben even inkomen gedaan voor de volgende dag, fles water en drinken voor morgen maar ook heerlijke aarbeien hmm die gaan er zo nog wel aan hahha, alles is gekocht wat nodig is en klaar voor morgen want dan is er een ander plan bedacht, met de bus de stad verkennen heerlijk zin in.
