Vroeg op staan ontbijten met crosants en een kopje thee en dan de deur uit. Vandaag net de bus de stad verkennen hoog op het lijstje staan Belem, de zoo en een aantal andere dingen. De bus reis is aangenaam, een lekker briesje door de haren de zon schijnt wat wil je nog meer. Waar je ook kijkt er is zo veel te zien aan historie in deze mooie stad, en ook aan cultuur geen gebrek voor ieder is hier wel wat te vinden van lekker shoppen tot dieren bezoeken, lekker spelen in een park of iets van oudheden of musea;s bezoeken. voor mij persoonlijk was belem echt de place to be, daar kon ik mijn hart ophalen aan mooie dingen. De wijk Belém is de meest monumentale wijk van Lissabon. Het is beroemd door de Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Hiëremonietenklooster), zeer zeer de moeite waard, het heeft een bijzondere indruk op me gemaakt, de architectuur van het gebouw de seren rust die ze uit straalt heerlijk om er rond te dwalen en alles op je in te laten werken, Het Mosteiro dos Jerónimos is een uitbundige mix hoe de Portugezen barok en renaissance zagen in de 17e eeuw,de Toren van Belém, de Torre de Bélem, zoals hij officieel heet, is een versterkte toren in de oude wijk Belém. De toren stamt uit de vroege 16de eeuw en is een eerbetoon aan de ontdekkingsreizen van Vasco da Gama( die begraven ligt in het monesteiro) en de Portugese Eeuw. Het is nu uitgegroeid tot een der voornaamste bezienswaardigheden van Lissabon. En duserg de moeite waard van het bezichtigen het gebouw ziet er bijzonder uit en het uitzicht vandaar over de rivier de taag is echt prachtig en het puddingbroodje Pastel de Belém zijn vooral erg lekker. Maar de wijk heeft meer, aangezien hij aan de rivier de Taag ligt en je hier lekker kunt wandelen. Daarna gaat de reis richting de zoo van lissabon, het is een mooie park maar wat echt super is de rust die er heerst, zo heerlijk. je kunt er ook een dolfijnenshow bekijken en ze hebben er zelfs een koala ( aahhh ik voel me thuis) haha daarna gaat de reis richting het zee aquarium en dat stond ook op het lijstje net als het kasteelv an sangeorge. Het Oceanarium (of Oceanario in het Portugees) is de meest populaire attractie van Lissabon. De vijf oceanen staan centraal in dit indrukwekkende gebouw( architectisch mooi gebouw om te zien) dat is ontworpen door de Noord-Amerikaanse architect Peter Chermayeff. Let vooral op de centrale watertank met haaien, roggen en bijzondere vissen als de maanvis en enorme soorten baarzen. Ik vond het zeer de moeite waard er rond te dwalen, de onderwater wereld aan je voorbij te zien gaan. De verschillende kleuren en organismen een echt avontuur voor de zintuigen, als het ware reis je onder water over de wereld zeeën mee , heb me echt vermaakt daar. Er is genoeg te zien, pinguins, otters, zeesterren korraal, noem het maar op. Het aquarium staat in Parque das Nacoes, het voormalige terrein van de Wereldtentoonstelling; de Expo in 1998. Het leukste waren voor mij de papagaaie duikers en pinguins die driftig hun kunstjes uit voeren, waardoor het er erg vrolijke boel bijna een soort van circusclowntjes op de rotsen.

The Oceanarium (Oceanario or in Portuguese) is the most popular attraction of Lisbon. The five oceans are central to this impressive building (architectisch beautiful building to see) which was designed by the North American architect Peter Chermayeff. Pay particular attention to the central water tank with sharks, rays and unusual fish like the sunfish species and huge groupers. I found it well worth it to wander around and the underwater world to see pass. Different colors and organisms a real adventure for the senses, as if you travel under water in the oceans, I really enjoyed myself there. There is plenty to see, penguins, otters, starfish, coral, you name it. The aquarium is located in Parque das Nacoes, the former site of the World; the Expo in 1998. The best part for me were the puffins and penguins who eagerly perform their tricks, making it very lively affair almost a kind of circus clowns on the rocks.
