Menig trip ging na duitsland, van een dagje leer tot aan de kerst markt in bremen, maar ook het eiland borkum hebben we vaak aangedaan. Vanuit de eemshaven kun je met de boot varen na borkum. Borkum is een heerlijk eiland: strandwandelingen, bos wandelingen en lekker eten alles kan je doen op dit eiland. Fietsen kun je er heerlijk doen, huur een fiets voor een dag en rijden maar over het eiland. Of ga in een huifkartocht het einland over als je langer de tijd hebt, ook heb je hier prachtige gebouwen die zeer de moeite waard zijn van het bekijken of de vuurtoren die zo trost het eiland siert. Je vind hier genoeg hotelmogelijkheden voor een prettig verblijf. In bremen een oude stad in duitsland geniet je van cultuur, oude gebouwen en een typische duitse sfeer, ga er vooral heen omstreeks de kerst dat is echt genieten geblazen. maar je kan er tegenwoordig ook heen gaan voor de Prime Markt al hoe wel je die eingelijke in menig grote stad wel vind of je daarvoor speciaal na Bremen toe moet . Bremen herbergt ook vele winkels, historie, kerken, pleinen, cafe''s em vooral gezelligheid. Meppen, bunde zijn kleine plaatsen met een leuke winkelgehalte, en leer heeft een prima kern waar je goed kunt shoppen. En een aantal grotere winkelcentrums, voor je dagelijkse boodschap of iets bijzonders slagen doe je er wel. Vooral lekker zijn de kwarkbolletjes die je in heel duitsland bij bijna elke bakker welk kan kopen. Of het broodje gyros met tjatsikie smaakt ook hier lekker ( niet alleen in griekenland)
